How to Connect NEW JBL Speakers to Older JBL models

Hello, guys. Welcome back to the Audio Tribe YouTube channel. In this video, I will show you how to connect a new JBL speaker with an old JBL speaker. This is the Charge 4, the Extreme 2, and this is the JBL Flip 6. Why will I show you this? Because the Party Connect Plus on this doesn’t connect with the new models.

Connecting New and Old JBL Speakers

Step 1: Power On the Speakers

So, for this to work, you just need to power on all speakers.

Step 2: Connect via Bluetooth

Connect the new model and one of these old models with the phone via Bluetooth. So, as you can see, it is connected to the Charge 4 and the JBL Flip 6.

Step 3: Select Media Output

Now, go to media output and select both JBL Flip 6 and the JBL Charge 4. As you can see, when I press the volume button, the volume will increase on both of them simultaneously.

Step 4: Play a Song

So, let’s play a song. As you can see, the JBL Flip 6 with the JBL Charge 4 is playing a song simultaneously.

Step 5: Activate Connect+ Mode

And now we want to use all these three speakers together. For this to work, press the Connect+ button on the Charge 4 and the Connect Charge button on the Extreme 2.

Step 6: Confirm Connection

And you will see now that all models are playing the same song simultaneously. Here we go. If you want to change the volume, this is the JBL Charge Flip 6, and this is the JBL Charge 4 that is connected with the Xtreme 2 via Party Connect mode.
